Purchasing a live, Grass-fed and Finished Beef from SonRise Ranch is the very essence of food security. You are guaranteed to be fed - because you own your supply. No amount of processing plant closures or quarantine can prevent access to your beef.

If you don't have a freezer to store a Beef, we can help.

For a nominal monthly fee, we will keep your beef in our cold storage facility and inventory track the boxes. With a simple phone call or email, you can request to "pull" from your stock - and we will delivery it to your local address*.

Your beef is secure and you are guaranteed access. Once it is depleted, the monthly storage fees cease.


A Full Beef can last a family of four up to 2 years. We have no purchase limit, you may secure as many beef as you need to keep your family fed and safe.

Ordering Process

The purchasing a Custom Cut Beef from SonRise Ranch is a multi-step process.

The entire transaction can be completed using this webpage. You must fill out all the required fields (marked with a red *) and complete the checkout process for this transaction to be complete and legal.

First, the live beef must be purchased from us. Next, a brand inspection must be conducted by a state brand inspector legally transferring the title of ownership to you, the customer. If you wish to evenly split a beef with another person select "Two Owners" and include the other name.

At the bottom of this page is a link to the "Cutting" instructions, that once complete, will be transmitted to the custom butcher. You may choose to just click the "Cut As Recommend" button and skip this step. This will result in a standard cut up designed for a small family. We have included a possible yield that shows what is typically included.

Next, your animal (as you now own it) is transported to the butcher, usually under agreement with SonRise Ranch, then harvested at the processing facility where your custom cutting instructions will be carried out to your specifications.

Note - You cannot legally sell your Beef once it is processed. The other "Owner(s)" must be listed on the Brand Inspection certificate, in step one, before they can pay for any of the processed beef.

You may, if you choose store your beef at the SonRise Ranch Cold Storage Facility, we charge a monthly fee, plus a withdraw charge for you to get your product. Withdraws are limited to one per week and include delivery to one local address

This is a small breed Beef that will yield more than 300 to 325 lbs of Meat, Bones and Fat, dependent upon your cutting preferences.


Medium Beef (Live weight of 1100 to 1200 lbs)

This is a small breed Beef that will yield more than 325 to 350 lbs of Meat, Bones and Fat, dependent upon your cutting preferences.


Avg Size Beef (Live weight of 1200 to 1300 lbs)

This is a medium build breed Beef that will yield more than 350 to 375 lbs of Meat, Bones and Fat, dependent upon your cutting preferences.


Large Size Beef (Live weight of 1300 to 1400 lbs)

This is a large breed Beef that will yield more than 375 to 400 lbs of Meat, Bones and Fat, dependent upon your cutting preferences.


X-Large Size Beef (Live weight of 1400 to 1500 lbs)

This is a very large breed Beef that will yield more than 400 to 425 lbs of Meat, Bones and Fat, dependent upon your cutting preferences.





Live animal transport options*:

Please deliver my meat to the SonRise Ranch Cold Storage facility and store it for me.

Note: We charge a flat rate fee of $100 for the delivery service, then $20 / month (Half Beef) or $40 / month (Full Beef) plus, $10 for each delivery of a withdraw (limit one per week). This service will continue until the beef is depleted

Processed meat storage options*:
No Storage Required after Processing (I am using my own freezer)
Please store my beef for me for a monthly fee - Half Beef per Month ($20)
Please store my beef for me for a monthly fee - Full Beef per Month ($40)

Choose this option if you would like us to store your beef in the SonRise Ranch cold storage warehouse. We charge $40 for this service, per month, and a $10 access fee. We limit one access per calendar week. Your beef will be split into even boxes, and we will, upon your request withdraw any number of box(s) from your cold storage, then deliver to your desired location. Once your beef is depleted the monthly charges are stopped.
