Did you know that a full 11% of the total carcass weight of a supermarket, industrial CAFO (Confined Area Feeding Operation) chicken is fecal soup?

This is because of the 50+ chlorine baths that factory raised birds get during processing. In fact, factory chicken averages up to 2500 times the bacteria level that one of our pastured birds do.

Most of this chlorine is absorbed into the skin and muscle because a factory confined, industrial chicken can not exercise, as such they are "spongy" and have poor muscle structure which also leads to a bland, sour taste.

In stark contrast, our chickens live outside, where they should, in mobile chicken pens with tons of sunlight, beta-carotene and vitamin A from the forages they consume.

They come frozen in a vacuumed sealed package and our Whole Chickens are delicious. They never eat Soy and are organic fed.
