There are two main schools of thought with respect to feeding raw food to Dogs; the PREY Model and the B.A.R.F. (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) Model. Both insist on the elimination of all processed foods and grains while substituting the highest quality, Raw components that are found in nature. These models are the very top of the food quality and animal care chain - for Dogs and owners, it just doesn't get better than this.
The PREY Model is intended to supply dogs with a diet that replicates that of a wild canine without requiring the pet to hunt and kill wild prey.
B.A.R.F. is an alternative raw diet, calculated to offer your dog a modified diet that consists of raw meat, bones, vegetables and fruit. SonRise Ranch does not currently offer the B.A.R.F. diet.
It is essential that both models consist exclusively of Grass Fed & Free Range animals that were never fed antibiotics or hormones, raised on pasture and not confined on feedlots (the same benefits of all SonRise Ranch products).
