Out-of-stock Items
  Our web system does not allow backorder to be placed for items that are out of stock. Most of our products become available on our bi-weekly butcher cycle - so using the option for "e-mail me when back in stock" is a great idea.

Our website will automatically notify you if your item becomes avliable again. Most items are, at most, within two weeks of being back in stock.

How do I know if my order shipped?
 

You will receive three e-mails from us when you order.

1. A confirmation e-mail when you place your order. If you do not receive this, please call immediately, as your email address may be incorrect.

2. A shipping confirmation with your FEDEX tracking number - this will allow you to "fine tune" your delivery time and date with FEDEX if you choose.

3. A follow-up email asking for your opinion on our service and products.

How do I change quantities or cancel an item in my order?
  Click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site to view orders you have placed. Then click the "Change quantities / cancel orders" link to find and edit your order. Please note that once an order has begun processing or has shipped, the order is no longer editable.

How much freezer space do I need
 

We often get asked: how much freezer space do I need? Since this varies greatly by the product ordered it is very hard to estimate, but a general rule of thumb is 1 cubic foot of space for each 5-10 lbs of meat. Just to be safe we tell folks to estimate on the high side. Please be aware that it is ok to re-freeze meat if it has thawed or partially thawed so long as it never gets to room temperature - it should be kept cold before refreezing.

When will my order ship?
  Please see each individual item page for more information on the availability of each item. Also, after placing your order, you may click the My Account / Order Status link at the top right hand side of our site to track the status of your order. You will receive a shipment confirmation when your order has shipped and tracking information within 24-48 hours of shipment.
